Free Maribel!

On Monday I wrote about the appalling case of 11-year-old Maribel Cuevas, manhandled by the police and charged with felony assault for throwing a rock in self-defense. Since then a website has gone up in support of her, and a commenter asked that I help spread the word.

Happy to do it.

The Free Maribel Cuevas site gives the names, email and addresses of the Fresno chief of police, district attorney, mayor and California governor, whoever that is. There is also an online petition.

Just say No to child abuse!
