Prediction of the Day
US house prices will drop by 8 per cent between 2006 and 2008 ... exceeding the record peak-to-trough drop of 6.5 per cent between 1991 and 1992. —Standard & Poor's, as quoted in "Dollar plunges to fresh lows"
A further blow to the middle class.
Meanwhile on Friday the euro reached a record high against the dollar of $1.3813, and the British pound reached a 26-year high. That second home in Spain is looking more and more unaffordable.
