Ohio recount petition
Common Cause is supporting the vote recount in Ohio and has put a nationwide petition online requesting that Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell remove himself from any and all recount procedures.
Mr. Blackwell, himself Afro-American, has so far done all he could to see that other Afro-Americans could neither register nor vote. Now he may be counted on to attempt to suppress the ballots that they did manage to cast.
